2020 Red Cedar Book Awards: Short lists announced

On the heels of the announcement of the winners of the 2019 Red Cedar Book Awards comes the announcement about the two short-lists, Fiction and Information, of nominated titles for 2020 Red Cedar awards. Though not officially launching until November, these nominated titles will be read by students in Grades 4 through 7 who will vote on their favourites next April.

2015 Governor General's Literary Awards: Finalists announced today!



The Governor General's Literary Awards are Canada's national book awards, honouring the best of our literature in seven categories, in both official languages.  Today, the finalists for the 2015 Governor General Literary Awards were announced on the Canada Council website.

Awards are given for both English and French books in the following categories:
