2020 Red Cedar Book Awards: Short lists announced

On the heels of the announcement of the winners of the 2019 Red Cedar Book Awards comes the announcement about the two short-lists, Fiction and Information, of nominated titles for 2020 Red Cedar awards. Though not officially launching until November, these nominated titles will be read by students in Grades 4 through 7 who will vote on their favourites next April.

2019 Red Cedar Book Award winners announced

The Red Cedar Book Award (a.k.a. B.C.'s Young Readers' Choice Award) announced its award winners for 2019. All BC kids in Grades 4-7 are free to participate in this program. Those who have been reading the nominated titles which were announced last year voted this spring and the winners announced last week. This is truly a readers' choice award. Congratulations to the readers who chose the winning titles and the authors for this achievement.

2014/2015 Red Cedar Book Award shortlists already announced

The Red Cedar Book Award (a.k.a. B.C.'s Young Readers' Choice Award) announced its award winners for 2013/2014 and have already announced the two short-lists of nominated titles for the upcoming year, though not officially launched until November. Readers in Grades 4 through 7 will have until next spring to read the books to prepare themselves for voting in April.

Fiction:
