Every year, the Internationale Jugendbibliothek (International Youth Library / IYL) in Germany selects recently published books considered noteworthy due to their universal theme and/or their exceptional and often innovative artistic and literary style and design. These international books are given the premium label of the White Raven.
This year, 200 titles in 36 languages from 55 countries, including seven books of English and French books for young people, have been deemed worthy of designation as White Ravens 2015.
Congratulations to the following books written and/or illustrated by Canadians for inclusion on this auspicious list.
