2015 Governor General's Literary Awards: Finalists announced today!



The Governor General's Literary Awards are Canada's national book awards, honouring the best of our literature in seven categories, in both official languages.  Today, the finalists for the 2015 Governor General Literary Awards were announced on the Canada Council website.

Awards are given for both English and French books in the following categories:

• Fiction
• Poetry
• Drama
• Non-fiction
• Children's Literature: Text
• Children's Literature: Illustrated Books
• Translation

Below are the nominees for the children's literature awards for English and French texts and illustrations.
