The 2014 Amelia Bloomer Project List

The Amelia Bloomer Project is part of the Feminist Task Force of the American Library Association’s Social Responsibility Round Table.  Each year it selects books with significant feminist content that will appeal to young readers in the following categories:
  • Early Readers: Fiction, Non-fiction
  • Middle Grade: Fiction, Non-fiction
  • Young Adult: Fiction, Non-fiction
This year two #youngCanLit books were recognized in the Middle Grade Non-fiction category.
